Owner and Senior Researcher
Nichole Carminati is an applied anthropologist and writer living in Cincinnati. She brings thirteen years of experience in the financial industry with litigation experience. Prior to her entrance to insurance litigation she spent her time as an undergraduate in the direct patient care hospital setting. Her MA thesis for medical/cultural anthropology ensured rigorous training in qualitative and quantitative analysis including confidentiality reviewed by the University of Central Florida IRB. She is an active member of the local community and lives with her husband Rick and daughters who are both enrolled in local colleges.
You can find her at trade shows and conferences in the defense and telecommunications industry, as well as AI, tech, energy and construction. Local events supporting Carry the Load, Honor Flight for Veterans, Non-profits for the greater Cincinnati and Columbus fundraising events. Professionally she enrolled in two development courses.
She is a member of several writing groups in the greater Cincinnati area and continues to develop her second fiction novel in addition to various writing projects spanning several genres.
A Navy veteran and resident of Florida intermittent for twenty years she is new to the Midwest lifestyle. She is a writer for the Cincinnati Exchange, a guest columnist for the Cincinnati Enquirer, researcher and community advocate continually engaged in current events impact local developments.
Technical Advisor
Rick Carminati is a telecommunications expert with over twenty years experience both on the job site and in the classroom. His role at Rey Pickett is technical consultant and he is currently employed with Viavi Solutions.
His areas of expertise include the defense industry, data centers, satellite technology, radio, tesst and measurement spanning in a multitude of areas. He is also a member of several writing clubs in the greater Cincinnati area with Nichole and their daughters. He offers insight to the community involving the telecommunications infrastructure boom in the Midwest.
He is most often found on the road, face to face with customers or at industry events and trade shows. His career has touched almost every industry in the telecommunications space. His perspective is invaluable to the success of understanding technological intersectionality.
He has experience training in fiber optics and acts as a mentor to those new to the industry. His credentials as an expert in the telecommunications industry includes winning Circle of Excellence at Viavi Solutions in 2017 as well as job site deployments to South and Central America.
He is a graduate of DeSales University with a degree in Special Education. He is a published author of Gator Wrestling: Andre the Agoraphobic Alligator and is active in the writing community in Cincinnati. He is working on several new stories.
Legal Strategist
Brandi Thrailkill brings over twenty years of experience in the legal field. She started in the industry as a court courier servicing Florida and has handled national accounts. She is Rey Pickett’s research analyst and notary republic. She assists in jurisdictional oversight as it relates to project requirements. She brings a keen analytical eye and verve for regulation oversight and compliance. Brandi is a voracious reader and nature lover, often exploring new hiking trails.
Operations Manager
Sara Brothman Brings a wealth of experience assisting start-up companies and non-profit organizations with administrative and development. Sara has direct experience in the aviation industry, human resources, and sits as the development assistant for a non-profit out of New Jersey. Sara is active in her community volunteering and is an enthusiastic sports fan. Sara is plugged into current events with her vast social network.
Legal Consultant
Antoine D. Daniels is an attorney with thirteen years of practice experience. He graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in English before earning his J.D. from the FAMU College of Law. During law school, he served as a Student Ambassador, received the Spirit of Service Award, and was the Community Service Chair for the Black Law Student Association. He also completed a prestigious summer clerkship with the U.S. Army JAG program.
Attorney Daniels has extensive litigation experience, ranging from misdemeanor cases to homicides. He has conducted hundreds of depositions, nearly eighty juvenile trials, and participated in approximately ten criminal jury trials as first or second chair. His background also includes handling complex litigation and bad faith matters for a major nationwide insurance carrier. Most recently, he was a Partner at a Tampa-based firm specializing in complex litigation and trucking accidents.
Admitted to The Florida Bar and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, Attorney Daniels provides clear legal counsel and expert management across various areas of litigation.
An active advocate for the community, he has worked with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America for many years and mentors at-risk youth in the Tampa Bay area. He also volunteers as a high school basketball coach, has participated in the Lawyers for Literacy program since 2013, and supports Metropolitan Ministries.
